Berry (1.75) followed by a tie between Manis Smith and Edna Whorton
(1.15) and Louree Loftin and Joan Thomas (1.15), then Diane Heath
and Judy Webb (.77). Tied for 3/4 in B strat were Roger Ford and Dale
Richards (.51) and Helen Holland and Imogene Taylor (.51).
February 2. The groundhog did not see its shadow today but that
didn't stop Jack Walden and Tom Welch (1.75) from scoring first
ahead of a three-way tie for 2-3-4 between Janette Card and Sarah
Smith (1.01), Mary Cohron and Nancy Sims (1.01) and Joan Thomas
and Louree Loftin (1.01). Also earning master points today were Judy
Webb and Diane Heath (.69).
January 26. Finishing first today were Roland Sasseville and Jack
Walden (.70) followed by John and Linda Randall (.49) and Jo Rush
and Betty King (.35) while playing EW. On the NS side winners were
Joan Thomas and Louree Loftin (.60) in a tie with Janette Card and
Genelle Berry (.60), ahead of Thomas Kervin and Ryn Bailey (.35).

January 19. Winners in a 6.5 table game were Dean Welborn and Artis
Weems (1.84) while playing NS, ahead of Imogene Taylor and Helen
Holland (1.38) playing the same direction, then Nancy Sims and Tom
Welch (.35). Finishing first EW were Judy Webb and Diane Heath
(1.04), followed by Ginnie Mitchell and Roberta Roby (.78) and Manis

Welcome to the St. Clair County Bridge Club. We currently have two
games a week on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:00. We're
blessed to be able to use the sanctuary of North Valley Church,
located on Highway 12 in Margaret, Alabama.
DIRECTIONS:
From I-59 get off at the Argo exit and head east one block to US 11.
Turn left and go through lower Argo. Turn right onto County 6 and
take a pleasant ride through scenic St. Clair County until the stop
sign at highway 12. Turn right. The church is located at the bottom
of the hill. Come on in and get a cup of coffee at the front desk.
